"Teacher Favoritism in the Classroom: A Growing Concern. A recent post on social media has sparked a heated debate about the unfair treatment of teachers in schools. The author, a concerned educator, claims that the 'squeaky wheels' - those who speak out and demand change - are often pushed out or overlooked by administrators, while those who keep a low profile and avoid controversy are rewarded with top marks and promotions. This phenomenon raises questions about the value placed on teacher quality and the impact on student learning. As schools strive to improve outcomes and close achievement gaps, it's essential to examine the ways in which teacher evaluations and promotions are carried out, and whether they truly prioritize student needs over personal politics. Read the full story to learn more about this pressing issue and how it affects educators and students alike."

Saw this in a post by Greg Ashman and it resonated. The squeaky wheels on my staff often get pushed out even if they are excellent teachers, while other teachers who have been phoning it in for years but who dont make waves get top marks from admin. To what extent is this true at your school? submitted by /u/Fhloston-Paradisio [link] [comments]
