Uk based. I work for an agency and have been posted at a primary school mainly working 121 with SEND students as a TA, I received a call this morning stating I am no longer wanted at the school I have been posted at since January because I parent has complained to the school about 10 year old scars on my arm from when I was younger. It was stated this is a safeguarding issue. Is this legal? The limited research I’ve done since I received the call has given me nothing “legal” rather anecdotal. Just need to know where I stand. Will this affect me at every school? Is this not a viable career path? It’s completely floored me this morning. submitted by /u/Comfortable-Gur8845 [link] [comments]
