I am an ESL teacher in a larger district, and we’re expected to follow a co teaching model. I know co teaching isn’t the most popular thing, but when both teachers are involved in the process it can be a great thing for students. Most of the classroom teachers and I get along great, but one of them simply refuses to co teach. I have sent multiple emails over the year, offered guided planning time, and offered to meet after school. When I asked her what we can do to get better she told me I was being judgmental and not doing my job. I’ve brought this up with my supervisors and admin, but people just say that they know there’s an issue and I’m not the first one to say this. I guess this is more of a rant, but I put it under advice because I’ll try anything at this point. submitted by /u/No_Crew7226 [link] [comments]
