I guess the title. We have a PD on Monday and part of the schedule is listed as team building. I know its going to be some kind of game... art... kickball ... scavenger hunt etc. Like I'm happy for the people that enjoy that sort of thing, but it feels condescending to force adult professionals to play games. We have lots of planning time that day, so I feel like I should just count my blessings. But still. I'd rather just sit on the sidelines and cheer on my co workers that want to do that, or read, or go to a PD class I don't need, or have another hour to plan etc submitted by /u/discipleofhermes [link] [comments]
