I know teaching is hard, and many teachers are complaining and considering to leave the profession. However, I feel that the complaining ones went into teaching right out of college and never worked outside of a classroom. They seem to think that grass is surely greener outside of the school system. On the other hand, I have read many comments of second-career teachers loving their job and saying it is the best move they ever made. In fact, I only saw one second-career teacher claiming to regret it. Makes one wonder whether the outside world is in fact worse and those who have the chance to stay as a teacher their entire career are the lucky ones? submitted by /u/No-Wafer-6744 [link] [comments]
