So I’m in high school and I go to a new school in a small town . It’s a good school , since I moved I didn’t get into a lot of high achieving classes , only honors English . But before I moved , I had my fair share of strict teachers and “chill teachers “ . There’s nothing inherently wrong with being a “chill” teacher ,but I’m talking about the ones who treat their students better based on their ‘social hierarchy’/weather or not they were athletic. Didn’t teach greatly, and gave biased test scores.(like grading based on opinion not on weather or not the student followed the formula or format correctly). But with my “strict” teachers (teachers who are strict about their subject and actually help elevate students in their learning ) they’re my favorite . They actually help students . They’re strict because I know that they love me and want me to succeed. I learn a lot from them , more than my “chill” teachers . Also 9/10 those “strict” teachers will have a soft spot for you if you help them out and build a meaningful relationship with them . Seeing others being rude and talking badly behind the “strict” teachers back makes me feel so sad . They’re super nice to , so why are you even speaking about them in that way ?I like disciplinary teachers aswell , bc if I wanna learn something in school and there’s no structure or anything, how am I gonna learn it greatly anyways, yk what I mean ? I love my disciplinary “strict”nice teachers♥️if you’re a strict teacher ,just know that there’s a student that loves you and your work keep it up !!! Anyways that’s my rant , bye(I know my grammer is bad ,I’m not in school 🫩) submitted by /u/Fluffy_Charge4964 [link] [comments]
