Every study, every finding, every scrap of research points to the fact that phones and electronics in general are terrible for kids. And even without any research anytime you step into a school and see 80% of the kids totally living in their own world with their headphones in and glued to their screens we should be able to say "Hey maybe this is a bad idea maybe we should do something about that" My school district is terrified of making any policy related to phones so kids have them free range. You can have your own classroom rule but nothing will be enforced by admin meaning there are no rules. My admin literally the first day of school said "Yea just tell them they can't have it" then immediately moved on to how our test scores are terrible. Wonder if there is any correlation there.
