Recently we had a Secure the Classroom Drill; it was unsuccessful because our classroom speakers are now completely non-functional after years of spotty performance and cannot perform all-calls. Additionally, our class phones are internet based and, despite being in a city center, we are in a cell phone "dead zone", rendering us completely unable to communicate in the event of the wifi going down. If an intruder were to come on to campus we would not be able to initiate a lockdown. Admin is aware of this obviously but doesn't seem to be taking it too seriously, our principal is the type to write notes on post-its on her desk and forget them.
