I was nonrenewed but I'm not too torn up about it. I was planning on applying to a different school, any other school in my district, after the rough year I've had with my mental health. But even though I was planning on leaving, getting that letter of nonrenewal still hurt. Like I know I was leaving but you really don't want me? My principal said to let her know if I find a position I'm interested in, she'll talk to the principal. There's no hard feelings, I think it's more due to budget cuts because I did really well on my evaluation... but also a mutual understanding that where I'm at is not for me.
