I had a student literally projectile vomit in my classroom yesterday. Not a little “I don’t feel good” situation…full on exorcist moment. And today she shows up to school like nothing happened. So I immediately sent her to the office, they called mom, and she got picked up… again. I’m sorry, but do parents just not understand the 24–48 hour rule after vomiting/fever? Or are we just pretending germs don’t exist now??
