middle school math teacher here. im in a low-performing inner city school. i have about 100 kids, 80 of which failed the last math test. my principal wants to me to call all their parents and discuss that their child failed. I have until friday. any advice on how to get this done?? edit: she said that email/messaging is not acceptable. it must be a call to each parent edit 2: most of these kids are multiple grade levels behind in math. its my first year so im not sure what the policy is for holding kids back, but most of these kids are incapable of grade-level math because they lack fundamental skills from previous years edit 3: this test does not even count for the students' grades, so parents are not able to check for themselves in the gradebook. this test was purely done for district data submitted by /u/stacker103 [link] [comments]
