Residents of Rainy River are saying goodbye to two of the town's historic schools, as the old buildings are set to be demolished to make way for new facilities. The closure marks the end of an era for the aging structures, which have stood the test of time and have been a part of the community for generations. Despite the bittersweet nature of the farewell, the decision is seen as a necessary step towards modernizing the town's educational infrastructure and providing students with more up-to-date learning environments. As the old schools come down, the community is left to reflect on the memories and milestones that have taken place within their walls.
