In a bid to support the nation's educators, Angara has extended the repayment period for teachers' salary loans from 5 to 7 years. This change aims to provide more breathing room for teachers who have been struggling to pay back these loans, which were introduced to help them purchase homes and other essential assets. The extended repayment period is expected to benefit around 50,000 teachers who have been repaying these loans since 2018.
