Really taking a shot in the dark here, but I am a Japanese high school teacher using the Adventures in Japanese curriculum and I feel like my pacing is SO. SLOW. It takes me 2 years to finish the first textbook with students, which means we're starting the second textbook at the start of year 3. Which I think puts us fully a year behind?? I feel crazy, but also when I've tried to rush the material it doesn't seem to stick. I guess my question is: am I the only one in this position? Are others able to get through the textbooks at a rate of one per year? Or is that not even the intended use case? Thank you!! Arigatou!! submitted by /u/leap_music [link] [comments]
