To make this simple, a girl (10) that I have in after school care got my number from her mom’s phone and messaged me very late at night, just randomly out of the blue. I tutor her for extra money outside of school and have kept the line of contact strictly between me and her mother but I’m unsure if I’m handling this properly? I immediately told her mother and essentially got a message back along the lines of “she locked me out of her phone lol” and “she’s not coming from a bad place she just loves and cares for you a lot” which I appreciate and understand but I feel like the mom is not really understanding that I have a boundary and that also It’s just not allowed? She just kept saying well she’s emotionally attached you know and also just kept repeating that the girls love me and stuff.
