Hi everyone, I don't normally post things like this, but I know many of us here understand this journey in a way most people don't. My brother Alexander is a DACA recipient who lost both his DreamUS scholarship and in-state tuition due to Florida's new anti-immigration laws. On top of that, last year a personal tragedy forced him to step away from everything and he came back to almost nothing. No scholarship, no affordable tuition, just debt and sorrow… He's been paying $5,000 out of pocket per class, pushing back his graduation semester by semester just to keep going but despite all of it, he hasn't stopped and he's been actively working with FL representatives and senators to fight for change so other Dreamers don't have to go through what he did.
