A group of teachers who suffered injuries on the job, including contracting illnesses from rats and being struck by a toaster, are set to receive a significant share of a £15m payout. The payout is the result of a long-standing lawsuit against the school district, which had been accused of neglecting to provide a safe working environment for its employees. The teachers, who were allegedly exposed to unsanitary conditions and hazardous equipment, will now be compensated for their physical and emotional suffering. The settlement is expected to bring some much-needed closure to the affected educators, who had been fighting for justice for years.
