The amount of students who write to me like they're texting is astonishing. My school uses Schoology, and I can count on one hand the number of students that use greetings and signatures in their messages. Not to mention basic writing conventions. I've just stopped responding to kids who don't write to me professionally. I'm genuinely worried about when they have actual jobs and need to send emails and such.
